Does anyone have the ghibli DVD player, the totoro one with the acorn remote? I was just wondering whether it's any good and where I can find it cheapest - so far love ghibli for a crazy $350!

That thing was available only as a limited edition, and that was like almost nine years ago. Doubt you can find it, and even if you could, I don't think the quality of the player itself will be any good.

Disregarding ageing, the player is a standard basic no-frills DVD player, and can only play R2 DVDs. In other words, only for true fans of Ghibli.
