toriforiumu (if I can, may I address you as tori)

You like crime books, I have read most, if not all of the '87th Precinct' series written by Ed McBain, set in a New York Precinct...

He has also written another series under another pen name... Evan Hunter., about an criminal attorney, set in Florida...

Under this name, he also wrote "The Blackboard Jungle", from which a highly acclaimed movie was produced by the same title... Starring Glenn Ford and Sidney Poitier...

J.A. Jance also wrote a series of books about a Seattle Cop, and also another series about a woman who becomes an Arizona Sheriff. At one point, they actually work on the same case...

Another series, written by Tony Hillerman is about a cast of Navajao Tribal Policemen and women...

I, personally, have enjoyed ALL of these books...

I will include one more author, Joseph Wambaugh, a retired Los Angeles Cop who wrote a number of novels...

I’ll check those books at the library ASAP, and of course tori is a great name, My username is really difficult to the point that I sometimes misspell it!
