Posted by arren18 on 07.13.2011, 06:40 AM: Okay! I watched episode 15. There wasn't so much excitement in this episode, but I like that they haven't just ditched the fun atmosphere that the series had at the start. Also we learn some more about John Titor-chan's past... uh... future. So it wasn't an unimportant episode by any means.
Posted by arren18 on 07.26.2011, 06:04 PM: Well, I watched the last two episodes as soon as they were available. Just watched 17 now, and it was particularly good.
Posted by Roarkiller on 07.27.2011, 02:47 AM: Oh, 17 is out?
Posted by Saddletank on 08.02.2011, 06:38 PM: I've watched up to ep17 now and while I can follow part of what you're saying, Roar, most of it is goingwaaay over my head. I've more or less given up trying to understand this story and I'm just letting the fun and emotion wash over me. It sure is an emotional roller coaster though.
Posted by Saddletank on 08.19.2011, 11:38 AM: I've watched up to ep20 now. I assume there's a total of 24eps in this but I've no idea.
Posted by Saddletank on 10.26.2011, 02:58 PM: Finished the show, though I don't know if Arren can post on here now - it looks like he still can't. Haven't seen Roarkiller for weeks either.
Posted by arren18 on 10.27.2011, 08:13 PM: Yeah, so I finished the series some time ago now.
Posted by Saddletank on 10.28.2011, 06:23 AM: So if Daru was Suzuha's father, who do you think her mother might have been?
Posted by alacratstore on 10.02.2012, 07:36 AM: Agree with you Saddletank!! Here is now the good opportunity to get some new amine to watch and enjoy. I will be using the link to download Steins Gate. Thanks. |
Posted by Saddletank on 05.25.2014, 04:27 PM: Opening discussions to start reviewing another series. We currently have 3 suggestions:
Posted by husky51 on 05.25.2014, 07:28 PM: I have Aku no Hana... |
Posted by Roarkiller on 05.25.2014, 11:46 PM: Definitely NO on Chaos;Head.
Posted by Saddletank on 05.26.2014, 06:42 AM: Is Chaos;Head that bad? Or is it just unsuitable for our discussions?
Posted by Roarkiller on 05.26.2014, 09:12 AM: Well I can't remember the story other than the character being a part-time neet, so I'd have to go with the former Just my opinion though. I remember watching the series to be somewhat of a chore, so there ya go.
Posted by Nausicaa_Cat on 05.26.2014, 09:21 AM: I'd happily join in with Mushi-shi. I've read so much of the manga of Aku no Hana that the difference in style of the anime puts me off slightly. I also just find it kind of an uncomfortable plot ahaha. |
Posted by Saddletank on 05.26.2014, 09:55 AM: I think Aku no Hana's plot has been done in several similar anime, its just that this time its done very seriously and darkly.
Posted by Roarkiller on 05.26.2014, 11:40 AM: Mushishi actually sounds awesome in the medical sense. I wonder if any of them are actually medically logical. I remember in the first season there was this one mushi that goes into your ear and makes you deaf, where the cure was to pour salt water in it. Pouring salt water into your ear is actually a widely used manner of cleaning your ears, so it was pretty cool to see something so everyday-like.
Posted by fenkashi on 05.27.2014, 01:36 AM: I'd definitely watch Mushishi. Would rewatch Now and Then, and Tokyo Magnitude. Would definitely not rewatch Another though.
