Posted by arren18 on 08.21.2018, 09:00 PM: I was looking through the titles for doujinshi on an online shop, since it's something I'd like to get into, and found this one artist. Their main raison d'etre seems to be making bizarre crossovers featuring Muska. https://ec.toranoana.shop/tora/ec/app/ca...CTR000000122408

Posted by makc on 09.13.2019, 02:01 AM: pixiv is not happy about hot links ) I am amazed though that it is now open to view without login.

Posted by husky51 on 09.13.2019, 09:59 AM: Interesting 'fan art'? |
Posted by makc on 09.13.2019, 03:07 PM: if you mean that pixiv guy, he made sort of short stories based on existing anime, not even porn. so I guess that could be called interesting, from my pov, but tbh I mostly liked his style.

Posted by husky51 on 12.30.2019, 07:18 AM: Howl, Sophie and Calcifer... hahaha, is someone getting a hot seat? |
Posted by arren18 on 05.06.2020, 03:17 PM: I posted this artist at least once before, but they have some more: https://www.pixiv.net/artworks/81323015

Posted by Kazegami on 05.06.2020, 03:57 PM: These are great. They have their own style but still seem very much in keeping with Ghibli's aesthetic.

Posted by arren18 on 08.12.2020, 05:51 PM: I just saw this yesterday. I know it's a crossover so it might not appeal to everyone the same, but I thought it looked so nice.

Posted by husky51 on 08.17.2021, 06:34 AM: Holy cats!!! And I thought that I had spent a lot of time on the details of a plastic model of the 'Cutty Sark' that I decided to do with the sails furled. Yikes!!! I didn't realize until later that I had to do all the rigging which wouldn't be so visible if the sails had been set... It was about 3' long and I had to write the Revell company twice for replacement parts that my kids/cats had broken off while the ship model was being built and painted. I took photos of it, but haven't seen them is years... old Polaroid photos.. |
Posted by arren18 on 06.09.2023, 03:42 AM: Just remembered we had this thread and realised I've seen some really good Ghibli fanart on Twitter! I won't dig through everything I've seen right now, but this artist comes to mind as one who has some nice work:
