Hello !

Has always rocked by Joe Hisaishi's music, I had this air in my mind and I am convinced that this music is from a Ghibli studio's movie. But I listened almost every Ghibli's song and I can't find it. I tried to reproduce the theme that is in my mind (and I'm sorry for that it's a youtube vidÃ©o...)

It has a strong Joe Hisashi feel to it. His early stuff I would say, more than his more recent music though I don't recognise it exactly. I would guess either Nausicaa or Laputa - Castle in the Sky.

Unfortunately, I cannot recall any music of that tune from any ghibli movie. Maybe it might be from one of the recent ones which I'm not familiar with (Howl, Kaze Tachinu, Earthsea, etc) but I'm almost certain it's not in any ghibli movie before 2001.

That said, there are rare cases of music BGM that is not included in the soundtracks so you might have missed it if you were looking for the music in the soundtracks.
