Posted by husky51 on 12.29.2014, 11:36 AM: I would say that, judging by San's attempt to kill Eboshi, that it was Moro's intent to kill her. I will have to re-watch the movie as I don't recall that particular scene, but that's ok as I'm the "old guy"...

Posted by Maverick on 01.07.2015, 01:25 AM: From what I saw in the movie, plus the re-occurring dialogue of Moro saying she was going to kill Lady Eboshi the chance she could. Makes me believe she did intend to kill her, though was only able to bite her arm off.

Posted by ~OneSummersDay~ on 01.07.2015, 09:06 AM: I would agree that she wanted to kill her; earlier in the film Moro said that she planned to 'bite her head off'. I think Lady Eboshi's survival was important in the plot in terms of redemption and peace at the end. |

Posted by Shadd21 on 02.22.2015, 09:36 PM: I just recently watched Princess Mononoke again and right after Eboshi gets her arm bitten off San want to kill her but Ashitaka stop her saying "Your mother has already avenged the wolf tribe" so maybe it was Moro's intent to maim Eboshi instead of killing her.
