Hello, this is my first post here but I'm hoping some of you are much more knowledgeable than me when it comes to this stuff.
I recently got back into painting and even bought some Nicker Poster Color that is known for its application in anime backgrounds. I was just wondering if any of you know the paper they use, or where to get some? I've tried many different kinds of water color paper, both expensive and inexpensive, but none have been able to take the paint as is shown in many pictures of the background art. I emailed Nicker and they sent me a link to Muse Paper from Japan, saying "new TNK Poster" is used. However the translation of the page into English is pretty poor. Just wondering if any of you know anything about this paper or a similar paper that's used for background art in Japanese anime.
