Most of people find it sad, but I find it incredibly stupid. Why did she
give him scarf when gloves would be obvious way to solve their problem?

She touched him trough the stick as well as through the mask. Would the cloth be different? Or, if his clothes were cursed, in particular, why not buy him all new clothes, head to toes... Stupid, so stupid.
you should definitely give a spoiler warning when giving plot elements

You should definitely stop watching anime.

If you don't have the imagination capacity to suspend disbelief you are wasting your time.

And yes, spoiler warning in the thread title is good etiquette.

sorry I dont think I can edit the thread title. feel free to alert admins.

suspend disbelief
so in this particular situation, do you mean I should believe there is no solution even though there obviously is one? like, characters know better?

if so then yes, I did waste my time, I could watch some more self-consistent story instead. however, I could not know the level of inconsistence in advance, could I.
