Cool... That makes at least two, that I know of, Oscars the studio has won.. The other one being "Spirited Away"...

Those are the only films that have won it, but Miyazaki also received an honorary award in 2014.

Since I'm planning to go to Japan maybe by the end of the year, I've been trying not to watch any video that spoils me about the Ghibli park.

Do you guys think I should remain like this, or do you think that watching a video won't affect my first impressions if I'm able to watch it in person?

I think it depends on you a little bit, and also what kind of videos you're thinking about. I've learnt quite a lot about the park and what they have, and it helps me know what I most want to see, but I haven't watched things like videos taken by people visiting the park. I don't think it's a bad idea to know what to expect (it's different from wanting to avoid spoiling a story!) but I can imagine some videos would give away too much of the fun details.
