Wasn't this decided by poll a couple of times in the past? Granted, everyone has their own personal favorite, but this was in a general poll.

My personal favorite is 'Whisper of the Heart'... That being said, I love them all, even 'Grave of the Fireflies' although, as I have explained before, the ages of the two principle characters and their relationship struck too close to home to my own Sister and I in her early years from the time she was 3 days old... I haven't been able to watch it again since the first time... I may try it again, but haven't been able to bring myself to do so as yet...

I tried, but personally could not just pick out a 'top five'...

In no particular order but the first one:

Only Yesterday
Ocean Waves
Princess Mononoke
Spirited Away
Nausicaa
Totoro
From Up on Poppy Hill
When Marnie was There

Just looking over the list of over 20 that I have, these are nine (9) that I picked out, but others were very close to being included. Regardless, I love all of the Ghibli Movies that I have had the pleasure of viewing...

Even a top 5 is hard for me too... But here's what I've got:

Whisper of the Heart
Spirited Away
Princess Kaguya
My Neighbour Totoro
Princess Mononoke

I even tried putting them in order but I'm really not sure if this accurately reflects my opinions. As usual with any attempts to rank my favourites, I feel like it's been too long since I last watched most of them.
