When Your Bedroom Becomes Your Classroom

Many college students have been affected negatively by the pandemic. A recent COVID-19 study on the mental health of college students has shown that anxiety and depression have increased compared to the previous years.

For all the students here, what can you say about this? How are you coping up with the new set up of online classes?

I don't know if there are actually any current students around on here apart from me! I'd say in some ways it works out pretty well, since all of what I do for my studies can be easily done remotely, so in that regard doing it all online is convenient. Having said that, it's not so good in other ways: basically, any element of being a student that doesn't involve work. It's quite isolating, staying at home all the time can be quite demoralising, and the fact that working remotely is so easy can make it hard to divide up your day and feel like you can actually stop working.

I am lucky in one respect... The only students I have are my Grandkids and I feel for their mothers...
