Oh, I totally forgot I was meaning to say a bit about each quarter finalist's past record!

When Marnie Was There (currently ranked #11) and Only Yesterday (currently ranked #8 ) have faced each other once, in the 2019 group stage, but never one-on-one. Only Yesterday came out on top that time, but since then, Marnie has consistently reached the quarter finals, narrowly losing in both 2019 and 2020.

You may be right about that, husky! Still, it's a bit surprising sometimes to see newer films do so well.

In any case, voting in Quarter Final 2 is now over. The winner is When Marnie Was There, beating Only Yesterday by 4 votes to 1.

The third and fourth quarter finals will start tomorrow, maybe an hour or so earlier.
