This is the first time reigning champion Spirited Away (currently ranked #1) and host From Up on Poppy Hill (currently ranked #14) have ever met in the Ghibli Cup. It's also Poppy Hill's first knockout stage match.

Voting in Quarter Final 3 is over! The poll ended in a 2-2 tie, so Spirited Away progresses, since it had more points in the group stage.
