  Struggling With Life's Challenges

Every person in this world has their low points. Some may handle or even hide it better than others. What challenges in life have you struggled with and how have you overcome them?

This pandemic is so far the latest challenge in everyone's life, including mine. it's a struggle not only financially but mentally. we are all hoping that this will end soon

Unfortunately, I personally don't see it ending anytime soon as long as there are people like my sons and their family that don't believe that there is any Covid danger, that it was just something made up by Anti-Trump supporters. That millions of others that believe like like my sons... To them, I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY THEM THAT NOBODY HAS DIED FROM COVID, THAT IT WAS SOME OTHER DISEASE OR MEDICAL PROBLEM AND THAT THE PPL JUST GOT A COLD AND THAT THAT, ALONG WITH THE DISEASE, IS WHAT KILLED THEM... That there is NO danger anywhere...

I pray for my Grandchildren.

it is not that covid did not kill anyone - it killed more people than nazies killed in Auschwitz already. BUT, the total number of people in the world has become so ridiculously large that it is hard to notice anyone dying.

consider the total number of people killed in 6 years of WWII (the largest war in history so far) - some 80 millions. now imagine alien invasion happens and they begin to exterminate 80 millions of people per day. at this astonishing rate, it will take them around 100 days (or more than 3 months) to wipe out the humankind. you would be able to walk around for a whole month or two not noticing any change in the number of people around you, even though entire WWII worth of death is happening daily.

so of course when people die at the rate that covid is able to kill them, it is barely noticeable. we only think about these people because the media flaunts the numbers in our faces. meanwhile, the hunger kills like 4 times more people, for example, but since the rich cant die from hunger, the media ignores it.

It's now very common to hear people say, 'I'm rather offended by that.' As if that gives them certain rights. It's actually nothing more... than a whine. 'I find that offensive.' It has no meaning; it has no purpose; it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. 'I am offended by that.' Well, so loving what - Stephen Fry.

What makc said is actually quite important.

We have almost 8 billion people in the world

in 1940 it was 2.3 Billion

So for the death to come to perspective it needs to be 4 times more at least.

COVID could have been easily handled using masks and proper safety methods but people dont follow it, thats the issue

Do you have any experience with a therapist? Have you gone to one?

I definitely agree with you, the people didn't follow protocols that's why the virus spread
