Berserk is the darkest of all the literature I have read. However the struggle of Guts to overcome all adversary kept me hooked to it. I have read almost all the chapters. Definitely not for kids

Now I am bit sad that we won't ever see what was the supposed ending of this masterpiece

I heard about this too today.

I've never read Berserk or seen any of the adaptations, but this is still very sad news. There's something tragic about somebody pouring so much of their life into a single work and not living to complete it.
