Princess Mononoke (currently ranked joint #3) has been a regular in the knockout stages in Ghibli Cups so far, but Howl's Moving Castle (currently ranked joint #12) is in the quarter finals for the first time. They met in the group stage in both 2020 and 2021, with Princess Mononoke scoring higher both times, but never by very much.

Voting in Quarter Final 2 is over! The winner is Princess Mononoke, with a lead of 4 votes to 2 over Howl's Moving Castle.

It now goes on to meet Kiki's Delivery Service in the semi finals, which will begin on Friday.
