The time has come for the Ghibli Cup 2023 final! Please vote in the poll, and feel free to talk in the thread if you like.

Remember that there's a special tiebreaker rule for the final: if the votes are tied when the poll closes, I'll make an announcement post, and the first person to post with their preference after that will break the tie.



Interestingly, this year's final is a rematch between Princess Mononoke (currently ranked #5) and Spirited Away (currently ranked #3), which met in the group stage! Since narrowly winning the group, Spirited Away has comfortably come through the quarter and semi finals, while Princess Mononoke has done it the hard way, beating both of last year's finalists on the way here. Now you get to decide if this will be Spirited Away's second Ghibli Cup victory, or Princess Mononoke's first!

As soon as I started watching it, I was confused as it wasn't like any animation I'd ever seen. The adventure, the drama, the music!

Both films are the best of the best, but here's rooting for my all time favorite!

I had a feeling that might be your preference!

But yeah this is a really high-level matchup. I feel like if this was happening anywhere other than the Tavern, Princess Mononoke vs Spirited Away would be a pretty common final.
