Ghibli Cup 2024 SEMI FINAL 1

Vote in Semi Final 1 here! This is another regular poll, and the thread is open if you want to post any comments or questions during the voting period.

The semi final polls will close at around 5:30pm GMT on Monday 5 February.

The Tale of Princess Kaguya (currently ranked #10) is in its first semi final and is only the second Takahata film to make it this far. Whisper of the Heart (currently ranked #3) has reached this point every year except 2023, and has never lost a semi final! Their only previous meetings were in the 2019 and 2020 group stages - both times Whisper came in first and Kaguya second.

Voting in Semi Final 1 is now over! The winner is Whisper of the Heart, beating The Tale of Princess Kaguya by 6 points to 2.

It will face Spirited Away in the final!
