Spirited Away (currently ranked #1) is in the semi finals for the sixth year running. My Neighbour Totoro (currently ranked #11) hasn't got this far for a few years, but this time it's already knocked out last year's winner and 2022's runner up! Spirited Away has won every previous meeting between these two films (once in the quarter finals and twice in the group stage).

Ooooh! This was a hard one for me!!

I've explained before about how much "Totoro" means to me from when my Grandkids came to visit as well as my own liking for it... That, against the artwork and storyline of "Spirited Away"... Tough choice...

Glad the Totoro got some love this time around. Spirited Away was my intro to Ghibli though and forever holds a very soft spot in my heart.
