So technically it's not anime at all. But I have seen bits here and there, and it's not actually all that bad. One thing I don't like, though, is the way they try too hard to make it seem like authentic anime.

Personally, I think this is a great animé ~ there's a fantasy theme with good animation and a storyline that isn't repetitive. Jut because it's made in America doesn't mean that Nickelodeon (the creators, I think??) shouldn't try hard to make it authentic. I buy American style cookies in a supermarket in Surrey, but I still expect the supermarket to mimic American ingredients... This should be the same for American animé, surely?

Anyway, I agree with chihiro ... katara... *sighs*

Well, it's okay to try hard to make something authentic, it's only a problem when it's obvious that they've tried too hard to make it seem authentic. If you understand what I mean.

And like I say, I've only seen bits now and again. I've never watched it properly, so I can't really pass judgement. Anyway, that's my rant over I think.

I see where you are going with this. They try to get the essence like that mushroom breath thing? Well. I have said my peace ^^
