I wrack my mind
I give it sway
Write a po-em
And make it play...

I search around
I raise the dead
I use the words
From out my head...

They don't always
Make any sense
It doesn't mean
That I am dense...

I find it hard
Sometimes to rhyme
I just have to
Give it some time...

I'm done for now
No more to say
I'll go outside
And run and play... (at 10:30 at night, no less )

OK, not one of my better ones, but it HAS been awhile... lol
I had to bring this ol' thing back to life. Even if I seem to be the only one that pontificates poetically in here. Others are more that welcome to join in...

Farren's lost
He's not Irish
Wants some purple
Like an Iris...

Something pretty
Not too sordid
Lightly scented
Like an Orchid...

Another flower
Heavy odorish
Darkly purple
Lavender-ish

These just be some quicky lines that I ran together wiithout much thought (as you can probably tell, lol)
