Husky wines and dines a lot,
Mostly for myself.
And if I didn''t do this,
I'd end up on the shelf

(sheesh, mind went blank there, probably one of the shortest poems I've written, besides Haiku)

I was in another thread, reading a post and the words just popped into my head, so I had to write them down....

Husky's bones
Santa's gnomes
arren's good ol' Krampus

Took the time
Dropped a dime
And enjoyed being Grampa's

Others near
They were dear
Got to change their Pampa's ( )

All in all
Had a ball
They visited with Grampa's


(yeah, yeah, yeah... poetic license, rightus???) lol

hoping others feel the urge to post. I just went back to the start and read almost all of the previous posts. I enjoyed reading them, ALL of them, not just my own.

I again thank seasprite for starting this thread and wish she was still around...

Now that seasprites

Since we've seen her
Now we get to go
And greet'er

Is she still at
same ol' station?
Or move'd on
wit' cans of ration...?

Regardless how
She came to here'r
Now we greet with
Lots of cheer, her!!!

Tap the cask and splice the mainbrace, me hearties...
A double ration of grog for all hands....

(Note to seasprite: I wonder if all the lubbers even know what I just said, lol)
