That wasnt the nicest thing to say saddles but i suppose everyone can have an opinion. i was quite happy with that photo myself.. I didn't think i had bags under my eyes.  Oh well

I see bags(very slightly though), but I've got worse. Lol, I look like I haven't slept in years!(must be from getting extremely tired after writing and not going to sleep and just stare into oblivion.)
I need to take more pictures. Ray, I can't believe you thought that big building in that picture was my house. lol, THAT'S MY GARAGE. I'll put more pictures on Ayame's account once I fix my problem.

The 70's/80's can do that to you.
I think the one good thing about the UK is that it still retains the atmosphere of the olden days, no matter how advanced we get. It's unlike metropolitan cities like, say Los Angeles. Or Singapore, for that matter, where it's pretty much concrete with heavy green lining.

Can't really remember, it was mostly cobbled together from stuff from charity shops and 2nd hand/junk shops. I lived in Brighton at the time. The trousers are just black jeans actually and the shoes are modern. The bowler was an ordinary modern 2nd hand one, the whistle, hat badge, truncheon, white gloves, belt and pocket watch were again all from Brighton 2nd hand shops. I probably paid 50p to £2 for each item.
The only interesting thing is the coat which is an Edwardian naval cadets jacket (genuine) I borrowed that from a mate of mine who collected all sorts of militaria. I think he went round specialist shows or went to a couple of stores in Camden Market in N London.
It's a lovely piece of kit with heavy brass buttons and a lovely padded black silk lining, and it has hooks on the shoulders for epaulettes and at the waist for a sword belt.
I'm wearing the same coat in the pic of me on the canal boat.
I still have it although the buttons don't close on me any more
Yeah, I went through a phase of dressing up - parties and such. Its a great way to escape and also to meet people hidden behind a kind of mask.
