I thought that since, seeing as we have an Arts Thread, we could have a writing thread too... yay!
So... basically... post writing here. Yay! XD
Um... I'll start! ^_^
--
Her sculptor’s hands had slept,
For so many years
Dreams of paintings and apple pie
Cinnamon cake
Longing for what it was to shape worlds,
And caress angel's wings
But for so long,
She was met only with keyboards
Rough papers and children’s clothes,
Slippers and her early morning mug of coffee.
Only once,
Did her hands ever meet dawn.
--
Yay...!

We used to have a writing thread, but then it died. XD
I wrote this poem up in four minutes for a competition and got third place. lol <3
Kijame; Flowers
Wilted, he came forward like a dying sage
With grey eyes that never seemed to change
Wrapped in the final chippings of his sanity
Lost inside everyone’s unfortunate red vanity
He shudders in the darkness, clasping both arms
The tinkle around his neck of golden charms
He cries to the moon
“Will I please die soon?”
With pearl white skin,
And hair the colour of an angel’s single sin
Kijame, the final, the dying sweet flower
Devoured, consumed, by the demons, sought sour
Chains around his broken wrists
As the angel of death grins and insists
That if the little boy becomes his alone
There will be no sins for the remaining flowers to atone

Oooh, that was really good... I don't usually like rhyming poetry, but that was a good one. XD Four minutes? Wow...
And haha, there was? I think that I vaguely recall that one existed, but I was too lazy to go and drag it up again from the dead. We're not supposed to do that, right...?

You're right, we aren't supposed to, even though many forums I go on are against unnecessarily making new threads when we have perfectly good ones already.
But anyway, this'll do. I should post some stuff. Well, if I ever actually did any...

I lost my only piece worthy (i.e. long enough) to be posted.
But while searching through it, I read through contents of my very first website (for Pokemon), which during its heydey, garnered 100+ unique visitors a day. It's dead now though, never to be seen again.
Sorry for the derailment, being sentimental here.

I feel like a lone umbrella, used in the rain
Because all my numb heart felt was immense pain
Your laughter, your touch, it's all become to stain
But what from this, am I supposed to gain?
You made me wait, until I cried
When I was left with the thought "He died."
The whimsical wind carries away lengthy sighs
As I dream about the milk white rivers in the heavy blue skies
Rain, it won't go away
Because no matter what I wish, you will not stay
I waited from nightfall, to late the next day
When I felt my emotions had begun to decay
I'm lonely, so lonely, yet you do not care
Glancing at me, or giving me a cold glare
I watch as you smile and turn away
Unable to listen to the muffled words I need to say
Because I'm an umbrella, unloved and uneeded
There is nothing left for me to feel I've succeeded
Wipe the mud off your shoes, and say your goodbyes
Since now all I can fall asleep to are melancholic lullabies
Yay. Guess who I wrote this for? XD

Wow FFF, your writing is just so intense..I really noticed that in your short story 'Redundant' aswell; you portray emotions so well.
Well, thank you~. ^^ I take that as a compliment. Not as intense as I'd like it. :/ I wonder, would my stories classify as psychological? My mom is really understanding of people, it's kinda creepy.

Oh, FFF all your writing is really good...!
Um... here's something else that I wrote recently. I think that I might want to add something else onto the end of it, but ah well. xD Here it is...
We stripped them bare,
The words
And their cinnamon-dipped voices whispered
As we pulled away their skin,
To find pasts and histories and bruised voices
Thin, and delicate
Spun glass and honey-tipped bottles
Clothes left for too long on the washing line
We dipped our toes in their oceans,
Our ankles trembling
And splashed their salt water between us,
Laughed at what we could hardly understand

I like the words you use, Kiki. ^^
Here's one for Kami. XD
Fairy; Deep Longing
Sweet butterfly, what is wrong?
Can you not sing your benevolent song?
I haven't heard you play today
Your smile's faded, perhaps you do not feel gay?
Sweet butterfly, with wings so fragile
To be broken, crushed, under one dark tile
Never to awake again in the middle of the night
Never again able to take flight
My heart is full of unending sorrow
Because your darling face will see no tomorrow
Your laughter now echoes in vacant corners
Since I am your eternal, unhappy mourner
Sweet butterfly, is your new life any good?
As I stand at the edge of the cliff where you once stood
Happily prodding your way into everything
Timid, and shy, your voice is now fading
All you left us were charming little memories
The real you locked away, where my eyes cannot see
Your wings miraculously extend to the heavens
Dropping upon me sweet, tangy lemons
You've become an angel, with pearl white wings
Where your hurt has been shed, but your cut skin still stings
Remember me always, until I find you
Because tomorrow, sweet butterfly, I could be with you too

Thanks, FFF. ^^
Here's something else that I wrote recently. Yay!
eyes felt like oceans,
like green-glass letters and thunder storms,
and shoes left in the rain
fingers stretched and twisted and careful,
i danced,
fell
danced.
and i lost things like smiles and colors and
late-morning pancakes,
my hands twisting like anacondas
i danced on the tight-rope walk,
breathless, barefoot
warm and cold and ice-age freezing,
i danced.

Kiki, you are an amazing poet. Astounding. Astonishing. Awesome. Alliterative. Well, only occasionally alliterative, but I was running out of words that begin with 'a.'

I wonder what will bring
The next installment of your tears
Stale, without a constant voice
Where the wind in your lungs has no ring
Open up the window, and glance outside
Because the rain only seeks your pale face
Extend your hands to the withered clouds
And realize that today, you've become the tide
Witness the ticks of the hands on a clock
And listen to crows as they sigh
Collect the dropped black feathers, lost from the sky
Since your stone heart has no key to unlock
Even when I smile, and bring you close to me
That cold countenance refuses to acknowledge
That he is loved, but cries without a doubt
And maybe one day, they will see
Dammit, Mahoney, you make me laugh. XD I'm really confused what to do with this character and his hat collection. Seems he has something else on his mind. :/
EDIT: I just wrote a poem about Yoite and Miharu, it made a guy cry. XD I'm not kidding.
Wind of the night
Why is it you wish to stay dead?
And furrow your quieted brow
Hiding in the shadows from my sight
If I wrapped you in the white chippings of snow
Would you love me then?
Being surrounded by the icy cold
That didn't let your emotions show
Like a bird, I should set you free
Because that smile was meant for only me
And hold me tightly, even as you die
For I am the only key

Again, great poems FFF. ^_^
THIS is what happens when you're stuck in the same house as someone who's managed to ruin your life for about a year and you're sick of it. SO SO SO sick of it.
i’m running out of glue.
but your web is still breaking
i’m still breaking,
falling,
and everything is monochrome,
grey
like your old sweaty shirts,
and your socks
and your stupid hair.
