I posted this in another thread too, but I'll make a new thread to make sure people get to see it.
I made a Ghibli Tavern Twitter account! I realise that forums aren't a very up-to-date format, so I wanted there to be another way for existing members or new people to enjoy Ghibli stuff together. I'm thinking I'll put things like little recaps of each film and maybe polls, along with more obvious stuff like news and updates. If anybody has ideas for other things I could post on there, please let me know.

threads do not feel like twitter way of doing things, they only make sense when you have some continuous story that needs more than 280 characters. I think you are better off posting one random fact about one random anime at a time, but adding the hash tag so that people could still find all of them if they want to.

Ghibli Tavern now has a very similar account on Bluesky! https://ghiblitavern.bsky.social/
There have been a few times in the last couple of years that lots of people threatened to ditch Twitter but it's only really happened in dribs and drabs. But now, there's a real push to move to Bluesky instead, so I'll start posting there too in case it takes over as the top Twitter alternative.

Update: I'll no longer be using the Twitter account, and will move over entirely to Bluesky (hence the change to the thread title!). Bluesky lacks certain functions, meaning I can't quite do everything I used to do on the Twitter account, but I'm hoping it'll develop more. In any case, I was already keen to make the move at some point, and given recent events, I figure there's no point prolonging it.
So for anybody who uses Bluesky, please follow Ghibli Tavern on there!
