I bought the stufio Ghibli museum 4 DVD set, which includes:
Spirited Away, laputa, Totoro, Porco Rosso, Kiki's, Mononoke, and Grave of Fireflies.
All have English and Japanese dialogue. So my question is, which Miyazaki movies am I missing that have English dialogue? I know of The Cat Returns, and will probably get it soon. And I here Nausica comes out to theatres soon in the US. Is anything else in English?
Thanks for any help on this.
As far as I know, all those that get dubbed were mentioned by you, except Howl's, which will come to US in this summer.

Okay, thanks for the help.
Also is there any must see movies that are English subbed, that weren't mentioned in my first post? I don't mind subtitles, but I prefer to have it in English when I can.
Thanks again

Also, unless I am mistaken, Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro is out on subbed DVD, though it might've been a while ago, and the DVD *could* be out of print . . .
anyone else-
I had no idea Grave of the Fireflies has an English version now. I'll have to take a trip to my local video store,
but, before i do, I wanted to ask a question: Does anyone know if there are english (Region 1) versions of Only Yesterday, or Whisper of a Heart??

Hi Quiet! Welcome to the forums!
Disney holds the non-Asian overseas rights of these movies. However the R1 DVDs of them have not yet been released. There are rumours that either one of them will be included in the next wave.

Oooooh, really???
That makes me rather excited . . .
while I love miyazaki's work, I recently saw The Cat Returns, and loved it, made me realize that there're other talented anime directors besides Miyazaki and Otomo . . .
Thanks for your info, and for your welcome

If anyone's interested, there's an English-dubbed VHS of Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves, a film from 1971 in which Miyazaki was one of the key animators. The dubbed VHS version is called Alibaba's Revenge: http://nausicaa.net/miyazaki/video/other/#alibaba

I just bought a copy of Castle of Cagliostro a few weeks ago at my local Borders. God, that movie was hard to track down. I hope I didn't scare anyone. "Holy crap, they actually have it!!"

There is no local release at my area (not even a bootleg, as no one seems to know about its existence). I have no choice but to order one from Japan... (AWWWW... my wallet hurts!!)

Castle of Cagliostro is available from Manga Video. You have to order directly from them, as it is VERY hard to find in stores.

Umm... Ordering a US/UK release here is even more difficult than getting a R2 Japanese copy, and the prices are almost the same...
As far as I know, R2 is superior in terms of picture quality with anamorphic transfer. But what stinks is the dubtitle. If both choices are available, I would go for the Manga release.
