Yeah that scene is from Grave of the fireflies. The whole movie is really sad, but that scene is just...

I have two moving scenes!!!

The first is the whole of The Grave of the Fireflies!!!
It is one of the most moving films i have watched!!!

The second is the end scene of Howls Moving Castle!!!

Please let people know if you sre going to post a spoiler. Mzny members haven't seen all of the movies and it may ruin the ensing for them if they know beforehand what happens, even in a general sense. To refer obliquely to something is ok, just not speklled out as you did.

This is NOT a chastisement, merely a cautioning to a new member who may not have realized fully what he was inadvertantly doing.

My favourite scene is where Marco is telling Fio a bedtime story - the tale of how he may have been cursed when he rejected humanity.

I also love the flashback scene from 'Porco Rosso' where Marco flies by Gina's home

The ending to grave of the fireflies in an obvious one. i love in howls moving castle when Sophie goes to howls childhood and cave of mind starts playing, perfectly complimenting the scene.... The re-birth of the forest in mononoke... and Shizuku and Seiji walking after country roads.... im too tired to structure this properly so sorry about the chunk of writing....
