Glad to hear things worked out eventually, husky.

And Kaz, that sounds like a fun trip! I never made it to Hiroshima but I would especially like to go to Miyajima, even if it is a bit of a touristy choice.

A week ago I got my mock results back. Mostly satisfied. Highest was Grade 7 in History while everything else wss like 4 to 6 (for non-Brits these grades are a low pass, anything above is a high pass and anything below is a fail)

Highlight: major progress in the house purchase after a few weeks of very little going on. I was getting a bit nervous about the schedule but it should be smooth sailing now!

HL: Went to Tokushima today for the Awa Odori festival! I've seen it on film many times, so it was great to finally watch the real thing. The dancers were fantastic, though I don't know how they managed to perform in that heat x_x Nice to see such a range of ages among the dancers too, from little children to grandpas.

HL: This weekend, a friend and I successfully rehomed a stray cat! He's been taken in by a good friend of mine and seems to have settled in well. I'm so glad. I don't know what would've happened to him otherwise. I'll be able to visit him often too, which is a real bonus.
