Celtic Woman- A New Journey at Slane Castle, Ireland... I've listened to this group for years and the singing is wonderful, but the Fiddler (Mairead Nesbitt) just blows me away! I'd never seen a violinost literally running and dancing around on the whole, multilevel stage as she did, all the while, playing... Fascinating to watch and listen to...

Many years ago, this was my first introduction to Celtic Woman on a PBS television station... Songs that I knew, such as 'Scarborough Fair and 'Danny Boy', and others that I'd never heard before, 'Caledonia', 'Spanish Lady' and 'Mo Ghili Mear'... Some songs in English, some in Gaelic...

I love to watch my DVD periodically... Leaves me with a good feeling inside...

These have been my two personal favorite things to listen to on repeat for the past several years.

The Fellowship of the Ring Soundtrack.

"Weathering With You" AND "Your Name." Soundtracks.
Both by RADWIMPS

Something about these soundtracks just always make me feel hopeful and inspire wonder.. Always good things in my book!

Nice choices. The LOTR soundtrack is pretty phenomenal. So evocative of that world.

Y'know, I didn't mind Weathering With You but it did feel like one long RADWIMPS music video at times. Definitely preferred Your Name.

haha yeah I can see that about weathering with you. For me there's just something special about Your Name. I can't even point out what it is, but it's just better than Weathering.

Yeah, I'd agree with that too. It felt a bit like because the RADWIMPS soundtrack worked once, they did pretty much the same thing again, but it just wasn't as effective the second time around. I still enjoyed the film, but also not as much as Your Name.

Utada Hikaru's new song Kimi ni Muuchu. So good, and such a nostalgic artist.

Meat Loaf - Two Out of Three Ain't Bad

I was sad to hear the news today about Meat Loaf dying. And just a few months after Jim Steinman, who wrote his most famous songs...

Boards of Canada - Satellite Anthem Icarus

I also randomly was looking up the openings to Inuyasha, it's not my favourite, but apart from Ghibli it was my gateway into anime.

A lot of Final Fantasy and Ghibli music recently. I'm actually trying to compile a giant playlist with those kinds of sounds

lot of the old Folk Songs from my younger days... 60's,70's and more.

Blowin' in the Wind; If I had a Hammer; Lemon Tree; Eve of Destruction; Waltzin' Matilda; A Worried Man; Leavin' on a Jet Plane; Where Have All The Flowers Gone; Banana Boat Song; Oh, Danny Boy and many, MANY more that I could fill this posting box full of titles and I was singing along with most of them... Amazing that I still remembered the words
