Which country's culture you like best?

That I think Japanese culture is really great.
But maybe Chinese culture is the longest and biggest.
And American culture is widest...
So is various European culture

Although it's a generic answer, considering this is a Studio Ghibli forum, I'd say I like Japanese culture the best. I could elaborate, but....nah.

Oh, and there is no such thing as "American" culture in my book. It's just a smorgasbord of people, ideas, religions, and everything else under the sun all together on one land mass. Now if you're talking about Native Americans, that's a completely different story. They probably have a very rich culture. MODERN America however, does not....IMO.

I am aware that every country has a variety of different people living there, but it just seems to me that America is a tad bit more mixed up unlike, say, Japan or China.

And for the record, I live in America, so I'm not bashing it or anything. Culture is a very important thing, and I just don't believe American culture is the strongest it could be.

Thank you all for vote.
Above all, I think Chinese culture is really great.
And for me, I love Japanese culture best.(Based on it's foundation--Chinese culture and Chinese language 漢字 Kanji)

Yeah i agree. And it's hard to like one culture because all have such great things and all have some bad things.

Although it has been over 40 years since I was last in Japan, I am still in love with the part of the country that I was privileged to encounter.

And Japanese cooking is by far the best their is IMO

----------------------------------------

What I ike about the Tavern is that so many different countries and cultures are represented here and we all have at least one thing in common and that is a love of Ghibli movies.

We are the world.

I can only think of two continents that are not represented in here...
Africa and Antartica... At least I have never seen any members from those areas...

Except where I live in Canada, a lot of people make a fuss about the small amount of immigrants from Asian countries. ._.; They should be thankful these people are here when our population is so low..

I can't really think what culture is the best, but lately I've been very interested in Korean culture. At first, I didn't have much interest, but after awhile, I became immersed. I love the language, and also little things about the place that I both hate and love. It makes me want to go there to teach, but I'm still wary (well, I'll more than likely go).

I've gotten a liking of their history too. ^^

He he i sank in! I don't like to rank cultures but this poll is too biased on a ghibli site lol!

I voted for other countries, because Canada, New Zealand and Australia really do embrace multiculturalism. Something which isn't exactly embrassed much at all in older cultures.

I like Japan, although I have never 'physically' been there. I find myself compelled to learn whatever I can about that country. Japan's recent crisis has touched many people in my homeland, and my heart goes out to the Japanese people who have suffered so much.

I would like to invite members of 'the Tavern' to communicate with me. I have many interests!
