They did worked on Thundercats original

Did you know before it was Ghibli it was Topcraft who worked on the first 5 episodes of the original Thundercats show? it's a true fact and some of the animators who did Castle in The Sky, Grave of the Fireflies, Totoro and Howl's Moving Castle.

I grew up with the classic Thundercats when i was a kid and one of my first animes i've ever saw in the 80s, later i did research on the show and found that some Ghibli animators did it.

Animators move around from company to company just like any other employees, its not unusual I don't think.

Yupz, heard of this news before.

And like saddle said, it's common for animators to work for different companies. Heck, some most- if not all- animation shows nowadays are done by multiple companies. Even Disney.
