Oh you are SO PRETTY! Why keep yourself hidden for so long? Thank you so much for that, really appreciate it and I know you like your privacy.

Don't know how you people can muster the courage to eat bugs. Really. They were everywhere when I was in Thailand too.

lol Eating bugs only reminds me of one conversation where one of my international friends accused her Indian friend of eating insects because he's Indian. A really weird argument ensued.
But wow, Fen, you went to China? I'm excited for when I can go there someday. I haven't decided where, because my friends want to meet up with me in the next few years. They're mostly in "small" cities, and then I have one friend in Shanghai. They'll most likely make me go to Beijing to meetup with them, but it'd be fun to travel around with them also. Hopefully they don't forget their English by then. XD I'm making China my third stop when I go to Asia.
One place I'd really like to go is Taiwan, because everyone I know who has visited/lived there absolutely adored life there.
EDIT: Of course starfish can be eaten. XD Although I wouldn't. I've caught many starfish when I was younger, but only older people seemed to like eating it.

Bugs are made of protein...
Anyway, wow Fen! Trip to China! That looks like so much fun. And the photos are really well-done too. Xi'an in particular seems amazing; I think I'd really like to visit it sometime.

I kept forgetting to actually read this and look at your photos, but I finally got round to it. It sounds like you had a great time! The photos are really cool too.
Maybe you already mentioned and I missed it, but how long were you there for?

Arren: Lol it feels so far away! I'm already ready for another trip. But yes, it was great fun. I was only there for 2 weeks. Felt like -ages- but at the same time, not long enough.
FFF: Yeah, I didn't think any of that stuff looked very edible especially starfish... and seahorses with their faces looking at you.
I do hope you get to go one day. I had a lot of fun. And seeing some of the smaller cities would be pretty interesting.
Mush: Xi'an was amazing. It was all pretty amazing. Hard to pick a favourite city but I think it's between Beijing and Shanghai for me. I had the most fun in those cities. Though, all the history in Xi'an was pretty awe-inspiring. Definitely the most interesting place that I went to.
Roar: Bugs are in your food. Mushed up and undistinguishable from the rest of it. You eat them in your sleep too. So it doesn't seem too bad to eat them when you're conscious. Though they definitely look gross, at least they don't taste like anything

Wow, I am hoping to go to China next year with some friends. I turn 18 in September, but they all turn 18 throughout the year. So by next summer, we will all be 18. Lovely place, and great photos you have there.

Ignorance is bliss. Don't bug me about it.
Isn't it bad enough I found a squashed mosquito in my salad last week?

Sorry it took me forever to get around to reading this and checking out your pictures. The photos are stunning! So you don't have to be all self-deprecating and say they're not that great, because they totally are. Sounds like you had a great time, and now I want to visit!

Glad you enjoyed China
I've lived in Beijing & Tianjin for 2 years now & still loving it (I'm British).
Any questions about life in China, I should be able to answer haha
Also, if any taverners plan to visit Beijing, hit me up for a drink or two haha
