Just saw saw the movie last night. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a different kind of Ghibli film than most are familiar with. It deals more in reality than fantasy; like "Only Yesterday", "Ocean Waves", or "Wind Rises". I'd still recommend it to everyone; I doubt you'll be disappointed.

I heard somewhere that it's being released on DVD in Japan in March; but I haven't seen any update on Amazon for a Western release. I'm definitely buying it.

Ah, so you saw it! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I was pleasantly surprised by this one - a lot better than Arrietty by the same director, I thought.
