now there should be search option, search this name nibir20111 then you should see my photo[dumb looking guy, same as facebook]. then click that you will see in the right side there is button called add to contacts. click that and you are done. if i accept which i will for you, then we can talk

Yup, as Saviour says, you need to establish a set of 'contacts' and you do that by their username. Once you send a friend or contact request to user X that person gets a message and accepts you, then you know when they are online.

EDIT: I just sent three requests to saddle, husky and kaz. As for the time, either weekend is fine for me. Unless any aussies have any violent objections, I think it's best to sync with husky who has the latest time zone. UK should be afternoon then, and it wouldn't be too early morning for the easterners.

Also, can someone with the most contacts create the group?
