So I was thinking of doing a movie marathon, like once a week, but I figured it'd be more easy on the schedule if it were monthly or fortnightly at most. You know, so we can cover all the movies by the year's end.

Anyone interested? Also, if we do this, should we include Lupin, since technically it's not a ghibli movie, very few people have it and requires prior knowledge of the series to fully enjoy it?

Would we watch them in release order? There's more than 12 though so we'd have to do it more than monthly - perhaps fortnightly?

This was actually how I first got into ghibli, by watching a movie every other day at the start of last summer. I skipped some because I didn't know they existed. But, with $375.24, I can buy them all on Amazon!

We should revive this idea. I don't know about watching them all but perhaps we could watch a couple of the less popular films and have an anime club discussion about them.

Currently, I only own two Ghibli's, Castle in the Sky and Princess Mononoke, and I don't know how many anyone else has, so I'd like to wait until I have more options.
