Thank you very much for the update. It is nice to be able to see the leaflets of Gedo. Did you get them by buying certain sponsor products, or were they just been distributed in the theatres? How lucky you are to live in Japan.

plz you must use this freely.

when i bought the ticket in the theater, i got this.
some theaters have put this in front of the entrance. therefore, we can obtain this free.

generally, leaflet of the movie is one sheet of paper, and only the front is printed by full-color.
but, both sides of this leaflet were printed by full-color.
therefore, they spent money in this leaflet very much.

I have made a Subtitle for the NTV morning show report/Trailer. Until now it is only the Trailer. For the Karaoke i have used nanashis japanese and romaji and wushu-4-ever english lyric. The script was send to team ghiblink(nausicaa.net) and will maybe released there.

@nanashi:
the line
"mushi no sasayaku sougen wo / 虫のささやく　草原を"
was changed to
"mushi no sasayaku kusahara wo"
That is what i have heared(and some other too).
Can you check this, please?

Perhaps a fitting synonym for sadness in this context would be 'misery'.

Another could be 'grief'.

To me a literal translation of Japanese lyrics always sound a little off and often loses its meaning -particularly in older animes such as Horus. Nonetheless, you seem to be doing a great job Nanashi.

One recommendation would be to replace "lonely loneliness" though, this sounds odd.

- "my miserable loneliness" or "my sorrowful loneliness" are both easier on the tongue. If you were to go with a less direct translation, "my melancholy" could also be used.

Therefore, I do not understand whether they are using these pictures in the movie

I've never seen such a continous advertising theme in a train/tube station, its quite impressive.

I recognised at least some of the pictures from the Gedo Senki trailer. The dragon picture you posted is shown right at the towards the very end of the trailer. I'm not sure if its just due to the quality of the images, but they don't appear to caps from the movie -perhaps coloured pictures of depicting things taken from the movie?

No doubt your pictures will provide some relief to nervous fans of the Earthsea books. They have expressed concern that Goro will not include sailing in the movie, but one of the images focuses on a boat in the ocean.

Really, 2kb is nothing...so you might be able to find some way to reduce the file size.

I recommend you upload it onto a file sharing site.
Megaupload is pretty reliable, I uploaded the original mononoke storyboards about a month ago and the link still works.

Just click 'browse', find the file on your hardrive and click on open.

Leave all the optional fields blank (Recipient's e-mail, etc). Type up a 'meaningful description' and check the 'I accept terms' box. Click send and it will give you a download link.
