That's awesome. Finally another film by Mamoru Oshii. When can us North Americans expect to see this on our side? DVD?

She is very cute. Her name is Oshii Tomoe!!
I got to know that Tomoe is Oshii's daughter.
She is a daughter between Mamoru and his first wife. (I have seen the article that she wrote in the magazine for the movie. )

and he and she are Oshii's children.

Eh, to say the least...the subject matter doesn't interest me at all, and the animation looks really crude for cut-out animation (if that's what it is), even when compared to the amateurish flash-animated junk on www.newgrounds.com -- a big disappointment from Oshii when compared to the lush full-motion traditional animation merged with 3D backgrounds in GITS2: Innocence.
