Hello ppl,
I want to know the differences between a japanese original artbook (the art of laputa, the art of kiki, the art of....) and an artbook Chinese, and how to recognize them in sight of a purchase.
thanks to all

As far as I know, there is no official Chinese translations of these art books except Howl (and possibly Spirited Away, but I am not very sure). As for differentiating them, the easiest way is to check the back of the book to see if the price is marked in terms of yen (円). A Ghibli art book is usually around 2800 yen, though it can fluctuate over time and between different versions.
If you are worring about getting a bootleg artbook, AFAIK that there are only ones for Howl and Nausicaa (the water-colour collection), but I have never seen them in the web. There could be more of them, but I think it is by far much easier to locate an official version than a bootleg, due to the very low degree of availability of and demand for the latter.

Are there Chinese version??? I’ve never heard of that.
As far as products of Ghibli, you should consider that most of those come from China and Caribbean Sea can be bootleg.
You can buy real ones at Amazon USA or Tokuma-Shoten (parent company of Ghibli).
Amazon Japan also sells it but Idon't know if they ship abroad.

There are both official and bootleg HK products on ebay, just like the ebay products from all other countries. 2/3 of my DVDs are R3HK versions, still every single of them is officially licensed (IVL with license from Bunea Vista) . I have a HK version artbook of Howl as well. IMO it is a bit imprudent and ineffective to treat, in an overgeneralized and stereotypical manner, the regional source as the sole and authorative indicator of a product's legality (yet many anime fans blind themselves into believing such "rule of thumb" ) .
Maybe you can post the ebay link of the product for us to check?
Kanta's links to the trusted dealers are pretty useful too. Though I think you can probably get a bargain more easily from the your local Japanese hobby/book shops.

On ebay nothing found from HK.... But I've found a good seller from Japan with original artbooks ....but they are so expensive.... O_O look at: http://stores.ebay.com/anime-artbooks_Gh...4QQftidZ2QQtZkm
That’s too expensive!!! 50$ is about twice as official price in Japan.
In Amazon Japan, you can find cheaper used books, 12 to 18$.
