When you told the second clue, I spent some time trying to find it in Spirited Away... I'm not a native english speaker so these are somewhat harder for me, but it's fun to think about them nevertheless

I watched one ghibli a week ago and got an idea for a new quote. Could I take the next one although I have no answer for this?

Jiro has a rival in the movie but he’s not German. The line is spoken when both of them are visiting Germany though.

I thought that I had a copy of "The Wind Rises", but I can't find it, so I am going strictly by memory. Perhaps the Italian guy, Caproni? I know that he built some real oddball (to us in the modern era, anyway) aircraft, including one plane that was like a wide tunnel with wings. The propeller was inside the tunnel and it actually flew...
