I know a little bit more now. As it turns out, I will be getting paid, but I still have to go in every day even though there isn't really any work for me to do. So it's annoying, but not quite as bad as I feared.

LL- Major sore throat and congestion... Went to VA ER and they proscribed some meds and going thru a LOT of tissues... also drinking hot tea w/ honey and lemon juice and gargling warm salt water... I've had a couple of rough days, but I might be over the hump, now...

We'll see...

LL: the start of my internship's been delayed 'til June because of coronavirus. Better safe than sorry, but it's still annoying. I'm more impatient than ever right now to get back to Japan.

As for my illness, thanks to both you and saviour for your wishes...
I believe that I am over the worst of it now, only a slight ache in the throat area where it felt raw before and congestion seems to be gone and my voice sounds normal again... At least to me...

LL: so all visas for Japan are suspended until the end of April at least. Had to cancel my application, will try again on May 1st, if they don't extend the period.

Damn it, why did this have to happen now, of all times... Bah.

With all the people kept inside due to quarantine measures around the globe, there has been many instances around the world that different creatures are taking over their natural habitat and doing things that we never saw them doing.

It seems so much like Nausicaa, where the Nature took over the whole world after the disaster

I am not really sure if its good or bad. I always thought humans are part of the nature despite knowing we do the most damage.

I dont know when this world crisis is going to end, Hope everyone is safe and sound wherever you are.

Glad you're keeping well Husky, please make sure to stay home as much as you can. We've all been staying inside for nearly two weeks now, only one of us going out to do the shopping once a week.

HL: this was yesterday, but I had a long chat with good friend from school who lives in Japan now, and by coincidence, another friend from uni. Must have been about three hours on the phone, in all. It was nice.

It is good to keep in touch with friends, even if it is only by phone, it is better than nothing.

As for me, I go to the store when needed and in order to get out of the house and in the sun, I drive to a local park and sit in my van and read a book... There are a few people that also come to the park, but they are separated from one another and I never get out of my van. If I've sat long enough to feel the urge, I'm only abt 3 blocks from home, so I go home rather than use the park facilities...

This way, I'm not mixing with anyone else. I occasionally pick up something from a drive-thru...

Everybody, take care of yourselves...

In house for around 2 weeks.

No walking is bad, i feel it in my legs.

still as i am living with my family not taking any chances, been out once.

office(software company) is going full-swing; in one hand i am happy that i can work from home in other hand it feels more stressing sometimes as a lot of meetings are happening which could have been avoided if was in office.
