"What was the best that happened to you this year, so far?"
Two things I can mention. When I got accepted into University for fall 2010. And when my brother and his family was visiting us. He lives in another country so I obviously don't see them as often as I would like to.
Q: What are you most looking forward to do this summer?

Epic, historical novels especially about German myths or vikings.
What do you think about the current robot/virtual world we're living in? I mean computers everywhere, phones with internet, always online..

I think it's a blessing and a curse. On one hand, it's made information more easily available and has connected people from different parts of the world and from different cultures in ways that have never been possible.
On the other hand, I think it's created a huge disconnect between mind and body. Many people have completely lost touch with the physical aspects of life and have become "minds tacked on to their physical corpses," as D. H. Lawrence put it. I also think it's created a society in which multitasking is a necessity, which has lowered people's attention spans and made them unable to focus intensely on a single task.
What do you look for in a romantic partner?

That's... very hard to answer for me. But I guess, at this moment, my most favourite thing is my Pokemon badge collection, only because they are on loan and on display for a roadshow.
I'm clingy to my stuff, yet very simple, after all.
What are you hoping for the most in the near future?

That I will finally pass my last exam and my traineeship for Tourism and that I will be accepted at the school for Journalism for next schoolyear. I will end this Tourism education at the end of august but then Journalism has already started so I am very very nervous that I can all make it in time. Not in the last place because my current school is VERY slow with their administration and stuff..
What is your biggest fear?

Being alone I suppose. That, or being forgotten.
What's the most key thing to your happiness?

Actually, I can't think of anything like that. I guess I didn't ask for a lot, but I always got what I wanted. :S Damn I feel spoilt...
What's your opinion on the digitising of books?

I hate it. I love to have a real paper in my hands which I can touch and just turning. It feels much more realistic to me to have something touchable than an electric thingy, although digital books could be handy for studies for example.
I quite like the concept of the tablet, looks more like a real book, but still...nothing beats the old fashioned books!
Do you feel that people are getting more egoistic these days?
(In the Netherlands there are lots of commercial spots to attent people onto their asocial behaviour lately)
